Arm Lift (Brachioplasty)

An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure that reduces excess skin and fat from the upper arms. This results in smoother skin and improved contours of the upper arms.

Am I a candidate for an arm lift?

Good candidates for an arm lift include individuals who need to remove excess skin and fat from their upper arms, often after significant weight loss, bariatric surgery, or aging.

Dr. Raven Henderson will examine you and help determine which arm lift procedure is most suitable for you, providing expert treatment and care throughout the process.

What are the anesthesia options?

Arm lift surgery can be performed with general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation.

Post-Surgery Care

Recovery from arm lift surgery typically takes between 1-2 weeks. You will have dressings and compression garments, and drains may be placed for a few days. Absorbable stitches are used, and you can usually remove the dressings and shower on the fifth day after surgery.
