A nose job surgery is also known as a rhinoplasty.

The surgery will repair or reshape the nose and improve its appearance and/or function.

Nose surgery, or rhinoplasty, is often combined with other procedures including septoplasties that help you breathe better.

A Rhinoplasty through Nose Surgery will:
-Correct a hump on your nose
-Straighten a crooked nose
-Increase or decrease the size of the nose
-Decrease the size of large openings of the nose
-Change the look of the tip of the nose
-Correct birth defects or repair damage from injuries

Am I a candidate for a rhinoplasty?

Good candidates for a Rhinoplasty:

Are self conscious about the appearance of the nose

Have nose deformities from trauma or genetics

Have completed facial growth (around ages 16-17)

Do not smoke or inhale drugs

What are some limitations of a rhinoplasty?

The final results of nose surgery may take up to one year to become apparent, at which time the need for further surgery can be assessed.

What are the anesthesia options?

Rhinoplasty surgery is generally performed general anesthesia.

Post-Surgery Care

Recovery from rhinplasty surgery typically takes between 1-2 weeks. You will have bandages to wear on your nose for a few days. Absorbable stitches are used.
